FMCSA removed 12 devices from the Registered ELDs List on May 20, 2026, for failing to meet minimum technical requirements. The 60-day transition period ended July 20.
Check the exact device
Verify the model number, ELD identifier and provider—not only the app name—against FMCSA’s current registered and revoked-device lists. A vendor assurance does not replace the official registry.
Carrier action
Stop using an affected device, install a compliant replacement, retain required hours-of-service records and train drivers on the new system before dispatch. Follow current FMCSA instructions for any permitted temporary logging method.
