FMCSA-APPROVED CDL ENTRY LEVEL DRIVER TRAINING (ELDT) – CLASS A

Individuals who obtain a commercial learner’s permit (CLP) on or after February 7, 2022 will need to complete this course before they will be permitted to take their CDL skills Test. Upon completion of this course the results will be submitted to the FMCSA Training Provider Registry. Prior to providing any testing services CDL Testing centers will retrieve these results from the FMCSA Training Provider Registry to confirm that the student has completed this course.

This course covers the following 30 units for the CDL Class A ELDT as mandated by the FMCSA:

In order to obtain your commercial driver’s license (CDL,) you must first:
have all restrictions removed from your personal driver’s license.
obtain a commercial learner’s permit (CLP).
be at least 15-years old.
both A and C.
4. After successfully passing the exam you will receive a certificate of completion of the course and your data will be entered into FMCSA Training provider registry.
